FINE BONE CHINA
1978 Hand painted, gold finish
Minton was founded in 1793 by copperplate engraver Thomas Minton. At the 1851 Great Exhibition in London, the brand was praised as "the most beautiful bone china in the world" and became a supplier to the British Royal Family. In particular, "Haddon Hall," designed with the motif of the tapestries of Haddon Hall Castle, became a bestseller. It was later absorbed by Royal Doulton in 1968, and came under the umbrella of Wedgwood in 2005. The brand has now been discontinued, so existing items are considered extremely valuable.
This Imperial Gold Series is one of Minton's most luxurious and luxurious collections. It features navy blue lines and lavish use of real gold on a beautiful white background of silky bone china , as well as intricate hand-painted designs. This is a top-quality product that embodies Minton's technical expertise and high design quality.
